SUMMARY: This fragment, from the commentary on Hesiod’s Works and Days by Tzetzes, quotes from the text On Agriculture (Georgias).
“Famous Orphéfs (Ὀρφεὺς) the Thracian in On Agriculture (Γεωργία) does not simply reckon a day of the Moon such as this as profitable or unprofitable, but (considers) whenever it comes into conjunction with bodies such as this and the transits in the zodiacal signs and the stars.”
