279. Ἰωάννης Τζέτζης ἐπὶ Νεφελῶν Ἀριστοφάνους 1178 ed. from H. Keilio Rhein. Mus. VI 1848, 617; Johann August Nauck Lexicon Vindobonense (Petropoli 1867) 249, 9:

ἔνην* (ἔνη cod.), ὡς πάλιν πρώτην μονάδα, νέαν ὡς ἀρχηγὸν ἑτέρου κύκλου οὖσαν·

οὕνεκεν ὀλλυμένη περ ἀέλπτως γίνεται αὖθις,

ὡς Ὀρφεὺς ἐν Ἐφημερίσι φησίν.

“On the third day*, as once more the first monad, being new as the beginning of the other cycle:

‘Wherefore, she unexpectedly perished, she is born anew.’

as Orphéfs (Ὀρφεὺς) says in the Ephemerides.”
