SUMMARY: This fragment is another excerpt from the Dodekaeteris.
Excerpt from the Δωδεκαετηρίς V (compare to Orphic Fragment 251):
“When Jupiter crosses through Leo, the year [of itself, the very one which will rule] has been determined very productive from the beginning (compare to Orphic Fragment 249): it will be rich in every type of wine and olive-oil, but at that time there will be a return of wild beasts; food for four-footed creatures; months of quarrels for mortal men; the fruit of the olive-tree will perish; the fig-tree bears fruit; and the grape-vine will gush out wine.”
