ἐνταῦθα οἶνος τε πολὺς πρόκειται καὶ τράπεζαι πάντων τῶν τῆς γῆς καὶ θαλάσσης γέμουσαι βρωμάτων πλὴν τῶν ἀπειρημένων ἐν τῶι Μυστικῶι, ῥοιᾶς φημι καὶ μήλου καὶ ὀρνίθων κατοικιδίων καὶ ὠιῶν καὶ θαλαττίων τρίγλης, ἐρυθίνου, μελανούρου, καράβου, γαλεοῦ.

“There is plenty wine to be served and tables full of all the produce of land and sea, except those forbidden in the Mysteries, meaning the pomegranate, apple, domestic poultry, and eggs, and that of the sea: red mullet, sea-perch, saddle-bream, lobster, and shark.”
