138. σχόλιον Πρόκλου επὶ Πολιτείας Πλάτωνος II 297, 9 Kr.:

καὶ ταῦ<τ>α <καὶ οἱ θεολό>γοι γιγνώσκοντες τὸν βίαι λαβόντα τὴν βασιλείαν καὶ τοὺς ἑαυτοῦ παῖδας ἐ<σθί>ειν ἐμυθολόγησαν, ὡς δέον ὂν τὸν βιασάμενον <τὸν> πατέρα καὶ περὶ τοὺς παῖδας εἶναι τοιοῦτον· τοῦτο δέ ἐστιν τὸν δι’ ὑπεροχὴν δυνάμεως ἑτέρας ἡγησάμενον βασιλείας καὶ ὅσα γεννᾶι παρ’ ἑαυτῶι κατέχειν.

“And, perceiving this, even the theologians tell mythic tales that (Κρόνος) seized the dominion by force and devoured his own children, as he bound and overpowered his father; it is also to be just the same concerning his children; and this is because the ruler of another kingdom through supremacy of power is also possessed of as much as that generated by him.”
