The Hymn to Apóllohn (Apollo; Gr. Ἀπόλλωνarose spontaneously during ritual and has evolved into the song found below. It is intended to be sung a capella or with a simple accompaniment of a drum and bell or triangle.

Apóllohn is sympárædros (symparedros; Gr. συμπάρεδροςwith Zefs (Zeus; Gr. Ζεύς), i.e., he sits beside and executes the will of his father; therefore he echoes the voice of Thunder, for Zefs is the thunder-bearer. Patróös (Gr. ρατρῷος) or patír (pater; Gr. πατήρmeans "father" and to those who love him, Apóllohn is a father. Ílios (Helios; Gr. Ἥλιος), the Sun, is under the dominion of and sometimes equated with ApóllohnFreedom is the specific quality of Apóllohn and is his dominion of the natural laws, that of the ninth house. The Light of Apóllohn illuminates and destroys all obstacles; it exposes the fragility of ego, the deceiver who imprisons us like a ýdra (hydra; Gr. δρα), the mythical creature with numerous serpentine heads which, when cut off, grow two more in its place. Music is a great love of Apóllohn and is under his dominion, along with his divine companions, the Mousai (Muses; Gr. Μοῦσαι).  Finally, medicine and healing are great associations to the God.

This hymn was written by the contemporary composer Kallímakhos of Chicago, not the ancient poet from Alexandria.

There is also a prayer to Apollo by the same author: THE TRIPLE HEART - ΤΡΙΠΛΉ ΚΑΡΔΊΑ
